You can sell as an individual or through the company. It can be a proprietorship or partnership company. If it is a partnership or limited partnership, keep the deed copy and registration certificate (if you register it with authorities) ready.
When you sell on Shopclues.com as a seller it is a regular business so you must first register with the appropriate authorities as a business, obtain GST and PAN and have a bank account. In addition, if you plan to sell branded products keep ready authorization letter. Scan all these business documents and address/ID proof.
Login into storemanager.shopclues.com and start the process by clicking on register. It takes less than a half hour provided you have ready all required documents.
This is just the registration part. Selling means setting up your storefront.
You will have to upload a product catalogue and description. Photographs are a must. You can photograph a product yourself or get it done professionally, which is a better idea. Keep the background of the image white. Price the product in line with what competitors charge. Sit back, wait for orders and execute when they arrive via Shopclues notification and mail.
To tell the truth, the process seems very long and complicated. I do not how to get GST and PAN or even do online registration on Shopclues. A friend suggested I take help from professional and recommended Digicommerce. I appointed them. Reasonable fee. They did everything. Even photographed products and write a description. Nice people. Now I sell regular and Digicommerce gives help from time to time when I want. Very professional and friendly people.
